Consumer Complaint:
I PURCHASED MY 2005 HONDA ACCORD IN FEBRUARY. IT STARTED MISSING OUT A FEW DAYS LATER. WHEN IT SHIFTS FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR IT FEELS LIKE I AM RUNNING OVER WASHBOARDS. THIS HAPPENS A FEW TIMES. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE, FOUR TIMES AND THEY CAN NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. A FEW OF THE EXCUSES THAT THEY HAVE GIVEN ME ARE MY ABS ARE NOT WORKING CORRECTLY, I HAVE A HEATED GARAGE WHICH IS CAUSING CONDENSATION- (I DO NOT HAVE A HEATED GARAGE), OR I KEEP BUYING BAD FUEL. A SERVICE TECHNICIAN FELT THE MISS, BUT HONDA DISMISSED IT BECAUSE THEY SAID THAT SHE WAS NOT A CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN, AND THEY COULD NOT GO BY HER WORD. THEY HAVE DOCUMENTED THAT MY CAR DOES HAVE A MISS, BUT THEY CAN NOT LOCATE THE PROBLEM. TOO SAY THE LEAST MY CAR HAS BEEN SOMEWHAT OF A HEADACHE, AND NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, OR EVEN CARE TO HELP. *JB
