DT: THE CONTACT COMPLAINED ABOUT AN OIL RING FAILURE THE ENGINE WHILE DRIVING. THE ENGINE WAS MAKING A FLUTTERING SOUND, AND THE OIL GAUGE INDICATED A RAPID LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE. HE PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. UPON INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, HE DISCOVERED THE OIL RING HAD BLOWN OUT OF THE ENGINE. HE ADDED ENOUGH OIL TO THE ENGINE TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE INTO HIS CERTIFIED REPAIR SHOP. REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE VEHICLE AT THE CONTACT'S EXPENSE. *AK
