I BOUGHT A 2009 HONDA ACCORD FROM A LOCAL DEALER HERE IN NASHVILLE,TN. I HAVE ABOUT 20,000 MILES ON MY CAR AND I STARTED HEARING A WEIRD SCREECHING NOISE AND WENT TO THE DEALER FOR A CHECK UP. THE DEALER SERVICE GUYS TOLD ME THAT MY REAR BRAKE PADS HAVE WORN OUT AND IS OUT OF WARRANTY. I CROSS CHECKED WITH OTHER HONDA ACCORD BUYERS AND THEY ALL HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THEIR BRAKE PADS. THIS WAS MENTIONED TO THE DEALER SERVICE GUYS AND THEN THEY ACCEPTED THAT THEY HAD FEW THOUSAND COMPLAINTS ON THE SAME ISSUE FROM NEW CAR OWNERS. THEY ARE REFUSING TO REPLACE THE BRAKE PADS AS THE COMPANY HAD NOT YET SENT THEM ANY DIRECTIVE FOR SUCH. THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME $180.00 FOR REAR BRAKE PADS REPLACEMENT. THE DEALER NAME IS CREST HONDA IN NASHVILLE AND THE CAR IS A 2009 HONDA ACCORD SEDAN. THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE A POOR DESIGN OR A MANUFACTURING DEFECT THAT THE COMPANY NEEDS TO OWN UP AND FIX IT. *TR
