SUSPENSION : FRONT : KING PIN: the tapered king pin may have been broken shortly after assembly into the axle.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING : HEADLIGHTS: trucks were built with headlamps wiring harnesses which may have the "upper beam"/"lower beam" wires reversed. this causes the trucks not to be in compliance with fmvss 108. consequence of defect: lamps would use the upper beam filament when operated in the lower beam mode. this may cause visual problems to the oncoming driver and may lead to an accident.
